“A Bird Ate My Chips” !!

Thursday 1st May

After the previous days trip to Fort Augustus, today we were exploring a little nearer to home, their were several viewing areas in the locality so we decided to take a look at the one closest to us but on the opposite side of the Loch, then we would venture up to a place called ‘Plockton’ where the ‘seal’ viewing boat trips left from.

One thing we have certainly noticed about Scotland is that many of the car parks are 'Free' !! Some, have donation boxes like the one above.

There wasn't a lot going on when we got to Plockton but we did see this 'wee' chip shop !! But were we tempted ?

So okay, 'Yes' I succumbed but I did offer to share !!

"hey, I didn't say I didn't want a chip, I only asked where the Fish was ?"

Come a bit further North to Inversnecky! I’ll treat you to a deep fried battered snickers bar!
    All the best!

Giz a chip Shazza! Eric, I saw today a Commanche with some headlight protectors on it, and very nice they looked too! I don’t suppose you’ve got such thing fitted and know where they come from do you? Ta

    • Too late mate ! They don’t last long once in her domain :0) lol
As for the headlight protectors, we saw them at the Exeter Motorhome Show last year. Look nice but not easy to install, we decided too fiddly.

    • I don’t know about how good the chips looked, they were not around long enough !! lol

We enjoyed Scotland when we were just ‘tourers’ but to be living in these surroundings, albeit on a temporary basis, is absolutely wonderful !!

Wow you got some good views going on……I can imagine its something that would be hard to tire of!

    • It’s a great feeling to wake up each morning to these views, no road noise just the chirping of birds. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea what we are doing but we are quite enjoying ourselves and their is one big advantage………too knackered at the end of the day to go out so saving loads of money :0)
